Many scientific theorists now believe we exist in a virtual reality governed by mathematical codes. Even if this was not true, the reality that nature follows math is well established. Astrology theoretically could be serving as an example of such base mathemtical coding for incarnated character personas in this reality. 

If our reality is indeed virtual, elements like religious belief systems, environmental systems, cultural believes, behaviors, genetics, etc, could be programmed, making it logical to establish coded personality types for both non-player characters (NPCs) and player characters (PCs).

Although modern science often dismisses astrology as a pseudoscience, it’s focusing on both astrology and horoscopes as the same thing, but they are not.   its origins are deeply rooted in ancient civilizations that claimed to inherit wisdom from even more ancient sources.
